What about the coloured hexagons above a fighters head?
There are 6 'types' they are: Warrior, Beast, Wizard, Tech, Toon and Undead.
Each have their own pros and cons and each of them (in Story Mode and PVP - not Co-op) are strong and weak to each other.
Warriors are strong at combos
Beasts are stronger when low on health
Wizards start with a fully charged super move
Tech explode when defeated
Toons can triple jump
Undead regenerate health
Type Advantage/Disadvantage
Each type has the following:
1 Strong Advantage (20% damage dealt, 20% less damage taken)
1 Slight Advantage (10% damage dealt, 10% less damage taken)
1 Strong Disadvantage (20% damage taken, 20% less damage dealt)
1 Slight Disadvantage (10% damage taken, 10% less damage dealt)
2 No advantage
In the example of a WARRIOR (see the wheel)
WARRIORS have strong advantage against BEASTS.
WARRIORS have slight advantage against WIZARDS.
WARRIORS have strong disadvantage against UNDEAD.
WARRIORS have slight disadvantage against TOONS.
WARRIORS are equal with WARRIORS and TECH.
When coming up against Story Mode opponents or PVPing, pay attention to the strong advantage/disadvantage first.

What is the difference between 'Normal' 'Hard' (and Gamer)
- Normal mode is designed for someone new to either the fighting game genre or Punch TV that wants a slower pace so they can ease in at a steady pace.
- Hard mode is designed for people familiar with fighting games and want to face more choices and challenges. The game speed has been increased by 10% (over normal). Rewards have been increased appropriately.
- Gamer mode is designed for pros that have studied in the Four Fats Fighting Game School and are ready for the final exam. They aren't afraid of challenges, in fact they welcome them with an angry smile. Players that dream of standing a chance against Justin Wong and Daigo one day have endured the final boss of gaming that is Punch TV, Gamer Mode. The game speed has been increased by 15% (over normal).
You will earn 13 gems for each of the towers for a total of 39.
Important to know that NORMAL, HARD and GAMER mode also affect the speed and difficulty of Co-Op and PVP. Check the colours of the lobby games. If you see YELLOW that is Normal. ORANGE for Hard. DARK BROWN for Gamer.

What are the 'stars' that I keep seeing?
Story Mode uses a team 'star' system that limits how many fighters you can put into a team at any time.
There are 1, 2, 3 and 4 star fighters. We have balanced them as roughly a 4-star fighter vs 4 x 1-star fighters will be competitive slightly favouring the 4-star depending on the skill of the player/type advantage (see above).
If you have a team star limit of 5 that gives you a few options for a team. The max star count is 12 as you level up in Story Mode.

Who are the best fighters?
This is very subjective and it depends on the playstyle of the player. There are differences between Story and Co-Op/PVP. We tried very hard to balance 55 fighters to play relatively equal in a stone paper scissors way. You'll just have to try as many as you can or ask around.
If you want to practice with a fighter, go into Story Mode, and hit the TRAIN button. You can mess around there all you want until you learn the combos and the moves (pause button for command list)

Story Mode is a very progression based game, meant to be played single player and offers a unique team building experience and story-mode only challenges not found in co-op or pvp.
Co-op Mode and PVP (pvp may be subject to release) are more 'arcade style' that do not take into account 'stars' or 'stats' when playing together or vs AI. We did this because it avoids stupid pay2win problems and it allows players that play for free OR pay to enjoy a part of the game stress free.
We give every player 9 x 1* Fighters for free to try in Co-op and PVP.

Will you add more ways to earn gems?
Subject to data, we will be planning some kind of simple reward system to let players to earn gems and maybe exclusive things by doing various objectives/missions. We still aim to keep the rarity relatively high compared to our other games and want Premium players to gain slight favour in any kind of reward system.

Will you add more fighters and stages?
Yes, certainly will be adding fighters stages and modes where they fit. The quality of each fighter is as high as it has been for us so it may be limited to releasing 1 or a couple.

Why is Ability 1 and Ability 2 sharing the same ability timer (Feebs, Messenger)?
Some fighters like Feebs and Messenger share a cooldown for certain abilities as part of their balance.
When Feebs/Messenger shoot a projectile (Ability 1), they cannot follow up with a 'swipe kick' (Ability 2) immediately.
They can however, use Ability 2 followed by Ability 1. You'll have to feel out the fighters.

What happens if I draft the same fighter?
If you draft the same fighter you will see a number at the bottom of your fighters card. If you look below it's 'x2', indicating there are 2 Duberry. What this does is allows you to assign +2 stat points extra per dupe.
The stat bonus is capped at x4 fighters (+6 extra stats from 3 dupes) of the same name (so you can't have more than x4 Duberry)

If I have x4 of a fighter, what happens if I draft another one?
TO BE DECIDED. We want a system that steers players from drafting beyond what they need once hitting a cap.

What devices do you recommend for iOS?
The oldest model iPhone we tested and were happy with was an iPhone 6S, they're old and still smooth sailing. Any model iPhone or iPad from 2015 onwards is going to run the game as intended.
We support iPad and iPhone user-interface for button sizes and screen resolutions.

What devices do you recommend for Android?
If you are unsure, the method we use is doing a search (ask AI too) ask the 'Antutu' score of your device. If your device scores above 120,000 on the Antutu score, you will be fine. As of June 2025, entry level phones ($130 USD range) have scores of around 275,000, which is overkill.

How do I unlock Gamer Mode?
You need to beat 'Hard' mode. This can be changed in the title screen. Be warned, Gamer mode is supposed to be a challenge (but doable).
IMPORTANT: What happens if I delete my account?
You can delete your account through the 'Settings' then 'Account' page then click 'Delete' and follow the instructions.
HOWEVER, we urge you to consider the consequences of deleting your account.
We do NOT restore gems or coins that have been purchased through in-app purchases that are subsequently deleted by the player. We consider all gems and coins as 'consumables'.
If you own the Starter and/or Premium Pack, the fighter(s) that you chose WILL be restored, along with other non-currency perks.
So please take account deletion seriously if you have bought anything through the in-app purchases.
Bluetooth Controller (that we try to support)
We fully support MFi (Apple's bluetooth controller) for all iOS devices.
We fully support Xbox and Playstation bluetooth controllers for all iOS devices using iOS 13+.
We widely support Xbox and Playstation bluetooth controllers for Android devices - there have been bug reports that Android 11 (2020) has issues with bluetooth controllers for everyone (not just our games). Android 11 is ancient by now so this doesn't matter much.
